Installation Procedure

2003 Chevrolet TrailBlazer 4.2 S, 4WDSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Install the seat back to the front seat.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  2. Install the pivot bolts which secure the recliner to the seat frame.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the bolts to 24 N.m (18 lb in).

  3. Install the new roll pins to the hinge supports and to the recliner.
  4. Fasten the J-retainer on the outboard side of the seat cushion cover.

  5. If equipped with power lumbar, connect the lumbar modules (1,2)

  6. If equipped with heated seats, connect the heater wire connector under the seat cushion.
  7. Install the front seat trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Front Seat .
  8. Install the E/Z entry manual release knob. Refer to Inertia Latch Replacement .
  9. Install the front seat. Refer to Seat Replacement - Front Bucket .
