- With the notches facing the front, push the support rods fully into the head restraint.
- Install the head restraint (1) from the seat back (3).
- Push the head restraint to the full-down position.
- Raise the head restraint in order to ensure that the restraint stops at the detent.
- Return the head restraint to the original position.
