2003 Chevrolet TrailBlazer 4.2 S, 4WDSECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the power window switch mounting plate. Refer to POWER WINDOW SWITCH REPLACEMENTΒ  .
  2. Remove the cover in the armrest pull cup.
  3. Remove the armrest pull cup screws.
  4. Remove the screw from the inside door handle bezel.
  5. Insert a flat-bladed tool at the front edge of the bezel. Pry up to remove the bezel from its clips.
  6. Disconnect the electrical connector from the door lock switch.
  7. Disconnect the electrical connector from the reflector/courtesy lamp, if equipped.
  8. Starting at the door bottom, use the J 38778 to disengage the retainers from the door trim panel.
  9. Lift the trim panel up to release the top edge and move it away from the door.
  10. Disconnect the electric connector to the radio speaker.
  11. Remove the door panel.
