- Connect the electrical connector to the driver information center (DIC), if equipped.
- Align the retaining clips and the locating pins on the steering column filler to the slots in the IP.
- Press the steering column filler in order to lock in the retainers.NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
- Install the bolts to the bottom of the steering column filler.
TightenΒ
Tighten the bolts to 2 N.m (18 lb in).
- Install the left instrument panel insulator. Refer to CLOSEOUT/INSULATOR PANEL REPLACEMENT - LEFTΒ .
