2003 Chevrolet TrailBlazer 4.2 S, 4WDSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Connect the electrical connector to the driver information center (DIC), if equipped.

  2. Align the retaining clips and the locating pins on the steering column filler to the slots in the IP.
  3. Press the steering column filler in order to lock in the retainers.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  4. Install the bolts to the bottom of the steering column filler.

    TightenΒ 

    Tighten the bolts to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  5. Install the left instrument panel insulator. Refer to CLOSEOUT/INSULATOR PANEL REPLACEMENT - LEFTΒ  .
