- Route the wiring harness through the retainer.
- Install the retainer by pressing into place until fully seated.
- Connect the electrical connector to the socket.
- Align the socket to the to the retainer.
- Press the socket into place until fully seated.
- Install the lighter element.
- Install the cigarette lighter fuse. Refer to UNDERHOOD ELECTRICAL CENTER
- Inspect the lighter for proper operation.
