Installation Procedure

2003 Chevrolet TrailBlazer 4.2 S, 4WDSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Align the marks on the hose. Install the outlet hose to the water pump housing.

  2. Use the J 38185Β  in order to reposition the hose clamp to the water pump housing.
  3. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to LIFTING AND JACKING THE VEHICLE in General Information.
  4. Install the outlet hose to the radiator.

  5. Use the J 38185Β  in order to reposition the outlet hose to the radiator.
  6. Install the lower radiator air deflector. Refer to RADIATOR AIR BAFFLE AND DEFLECTOR REPLACEMENT - LOWERΒ  .
  7. Fill the cooling system. Refer to DRAINING AND FILLING COOLING SYSTEMΒ  .
