- Install the shift lever seal (2) onto the shift lever assembly (4).NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
- Install the shift lever assembly (4) and secure it with the shift lever screw (3).
TightenΒ
Tighten the screw to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).
IMPORTANT: The shift lever boot must be seated inside the trim covers. - Slide the shift lever boot into the trim covers.
- Install the steering column trim covers. Refer to STEERING COLUMN TRIM COVERS REPLACEMENTΒ .
