2003 Chevrolet TrailBlazer 4.2 S, 4WDSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Install the battery tray.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  2. Install the battery tray bolts to the battery tray support.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the bolts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  3. Install the battery tray bolts to the fender inner panel.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the bolts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  4. Install the battery tray bolts to the battery tray reinforcement.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the bolts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  5. Install the battery. Refer to Battery Replacement .
