2003 Chevrolet TrailBlazer 4.2 S, 4WDSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Install the sunshade to the sunroof assembly. Refer to Sunroof Sunshade Panel ReplacementΒ .
  2. Install the glass panel to the sunroof assembly. Refer to Sunroof Glass Panel ReplacementΒ .
  3. Install the sunroof module to the sunroof assembly. Refer to Power Sunroof Module ReplacementΒ .
  4. Install the drive motor to the sunroof assembly. Refer to Power Sunroof Motor ReplacementΒ .

  6. Position the sunroof assembly to the vehicle with an assistant.
  7. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  8. Install the bolts that retain the sunroof assembly to the roof panel.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (7 lb ft).

  9. Connect the drain hoses to the sunroof assembly. Refer to the following procedures:

  11. Connect the sunroof harness electrical connector.
  12. Install the headliner. Refer to Headliner Replacement (Trailblazer EXT, Envoy XL) or Headliner Replacement (Trailblazer, Envoy, Bravada) in Interior Trim.
