- Remove the overhead console. Refer toOVERHEAD CONSOLE REPLACEMENT--FRONT in Interior Trim.
- Disconnect the microphone electrical connector to the OnStar® microphone (1).
- If only the microphone removal is required, disengage the quick release tab (1) and remove the OnStar® microphone from the overhead console.
- If removing the mounting bracket is required, remove the 2 retaining screws to the OnStar® microphone and remove the bracket from the overhead console.
