The throttle bore may be cleaned on-vehicle using Carburetor Cleaner (21007432) and a shop towel. Follow instructions on container. Do not use a cleaner that contains methyl ethyl ketone, an extremely strong solvent that is not necessary for removing this type of deposit. If air passage has heavy deposits, remove throttle body for complete cleaning. See THROTTLE BODYΒ  .
