Install the wiper arm blade to the wiper arm. Refer to Wiper Arm Replacement .

Install the wiper arm onto the drive shaft.

Hold the wiper arm blade (2) in position to the dots (1) in the windshield blackout area.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install the nut on the drive shaft.
Tighten: Tighten the nut to 30 N.m (22 lb ft).
Install the cover on the nut.
Operate the wipers and inspect for proper operation.
