  1. Install the wiper arm blade to the wiper arm. Refer to Wiper Arm ReplacementΒ .

  3. Install the wiper arm onto the drive shaft.

  5. Hold the wiper arm blade (2) in position to the dots (1) in the windshield blackout area.
  6. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  7. Install the nut on the drive shaft.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the nut to 30 N.m (22 lb ft).

  8. Install the cover on the nut.
  9. Operate the wipers and inspect for proper operation.
