2003 Chevrolet TrailBlazer 4.2 S, 4WDSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Install the midgate weatherstrip to the vehicle.

  2. Locate and install the midgate weatherstrip mold to the body by installing the push-pins (1).
  3. Align the paint dots (2) on the weatherstrip to the sheet metal joints of the window channel.
  4. Press the weatherstrip into the midgate window channel beginning at the alignment locations (2), and working around the window channel.
  5. Press the weatherstrip onto the lower pinch-weld flange, working around the lower midgate opening.

  7. Slide the retaining clips (1) down on the sliding hinge panel to release the sliding hinge panel.
  8. Close the midgate.
