2003 Chevrolet TrailBlazer 4.2 S, 4WDSECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the overhead console. Refer to Console Replacement - Overhead (TrailBlazer, Envoy, Bravada) or Console Replacement - Overhead (Envoy XUV) in Interior Trim.
  2. Fig 1: Disconnecting OnStar® Microphone Electrical Connector

  3. Disconnect the microphone electrical connector to the OnStar® microphone (1).

  5. If only the microphone removal is required, disengage the quick release tab (1) and remove the OnStar® microphone from the overhead console.
  6. If removing the mounting bracket is required, remove the 2 retaining screws to the OnStar® microphone and remove the bracket from the overhead console.
