2003 Chevrolet TrailBlazer 4.2 S, 4WDSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. If installation of the mounting bracket is required, install the mounting bracket to the overhead console.
  2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the 2 OnStar® microphone retaining screws.

    Tighten:  Tighten the screws to 0.8 N.m (7 lb in).

  4. Install the microphone to the mounting bracket ensuring the quick release tab (1) is fully seated.

  6. Connect the electrical connector to the OnStar® microphone (1).
  7. Install the overhead console. Refer to Console Replacement - Overhead (TrailBlazer, Envoy, Bravada) or Console Replacement - Overhead (Envoy XUV) in Interior Trim.
