2003 Chevrolet TrailBlazer 4.2 S, 4WDSECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the following components as an assembly. Refer to Crossmember Replacement - Front Suspension (FWD)Β  or Crossmember Replacement - Front Suspension (AWD)Β .
    • The front suspension crossmember
    • The trans support
    • The front control arms
    • The stabilizer shaft
    • The stabilizer shaft links
    • The stabilizer shaft clamps
    • The stabilizer shaft insulators

  3. Remove the 2 nuts (2) and the 2 stabilizer shaft links from the stabilizer shaft.
  4. Remove the 4 bolts from the stabilizer shaft clamps.
  5. Remove the 2 stabilizer shaft clamps.
  6. Remove the 2 stabilizer shaft insulators.
  7. Remove the stabilizer shaft from the crossmember.
