- Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure in Engine Electrical.
- Remove the front floor console. Refer to Console Replacement - Front Floor in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
- Disconnect the electrical connector (1).
- Remove the retaining screw, then the Shift Lock Control Module/Shift Lock Solenoid assembly.
