2003 Chevrolet TrailBlazer 4.2 S, 4WDSECTION Installation Procedure

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Install the front transaxle bracket and bolts.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the transaxle bracket bolts to 64 N.m (47 lb ft).

  2. Install the insulator to the mount bracket.
  3. Install the front transaxle mount through bolt.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the transaxle mount through bolt to 52 N.m (38 lb ft).

  4. Install the 2 bolts to the front transaxle mount.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the front transaxle mount bolts to 39 N.m (29 lb ft).

  5. Install the left hand and right hand splash shields.
  6. Lower the vehicle.
  7. Remove the engine support fixture.
