  1. Install a new IAC valve gasket (4).
  2. Install the IAC valve (3) to the throttle body.
  3. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  4. Install the fasteners that retain the IAC valve.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the fasteners to 3.7 N.m (33 lb in).

  5. Connect the two coolant hoses (2) to the IAC valve.

  7. Connect the electrical connector (2) to the IAC valve (1).
  8. Refill the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System in Engine Cooling.
