2003 Chevrolet TrailBlazer 4.2 S, 4WDSECTION Installation Procedure

IMPORTANT: The HO2S 1 comes with an anti-seize coating on the new sensor. Take precautions in order to prevent removal of any of this coating prior to installation.

  1. Install the HO2S 1 (2) into the exhaust pipe.
  2. NOTE: Refer to Component Fastener Tightening Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Tighten the HO2S 1.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the HO2S 1 to 44 N.m (32 lb ft).

  4. Install the HO2S 1 wiring pigtail and body plug (1) into the floor pan.
  5. Lower the vehicle.

  7. Connect the HO2S 1 electrical connector.
  8. Install the carpet (2) around the front floor console (3).
  9. Secure the carpet to the front floor console with the retaining pin (1).
