2003 Chevrolet TrailBlazer 4.2 S, 4WDSECTION Installation Procedure

IMPORTANT: The HO2S 2 comes with an anti-seize coating on the new sensor. Take precautions in order to prevent removal of any of this coating prior to installation.

  1. Install the HO2S 2 (1) into the exhaust pipe.
  2. NOTE: Refer to Component Fastener Tightening Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Tighten the HO2S 2.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the HO2S 2 to 44 N.m (32 lb ft).

  4. Install the HO2S 2 wiring pigtail and body plug (2) into the floor pan.
  5. Lower the vehicle.

  7. Connect the HO2S 2 wiring pigtail (2) to the HO2S harness connector (1).
  8. Relocate the carpet under the seat and the left sill plate area.
  9. Install the door sill plate and carpet trim.
  10. Install the front seat assembly. Refer to Seat Replacement - Front Bucket in Seats.
