- Raise and suitably support the hood.
- Install protective covers over the front fenders (2) to prevent paint damage.
- Remove the 2 plastic retainers (3) at the rear of the hood insulator (1).
- Fold back the hood insulator (1) in order to access the nozzles and supply hose.
- Remove the windshield washer nozzles (2) and supply hose (1) from the hood (3).
- Mark the position of the hood hinges on the hood to ease assembly.
- Remove the 2 mounting bolts which secure the hood (1) to each of the hood hinges (3).
- Remove the hood with the aid of a helper.
