2003 Chevrolet TrailBlazer 4.2 S, 4WDSECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and suitably support the hood.
  2. Install protective covers over the front fenders (2) to prevent paint damage.

  4. Remove the 2 plastic retainers (3) at the rear of the hood insulator (1).
  5. Fold back the hood insulator (1) in order to access the nozzles and supply hose.

  7. Remove the windshield washer nozzles (2) and supply hose (1) from the hood (3).

  9. Mark the position of the hood hinges on the hood to ease assembly.
  10. Remove the 2 mounting bolts which secure the hood (1) to each of the hood hinges (3).
  11. Remove the hood with the aid of a helper.
