- Remove the instrument panel compartment door. Refer to Compartment Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) in Instrument Panel Gauges and Console.
- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Disconnect the electrical connector (4) from theft deterrent module (3).
- Remove the screw (2) from the theft deterrent module bracket (1).
- Remove the theft deterrent module (3) with bracket (1) from the vehicle.
- Remove the theft deterrent module (3) from bracket (1), if necessary.
