  1. Place the remote control door lock receiver transmitter face down on a clean surface.
  2. Insert a small screwdriver into the slot on the bottom of the transmitter.
  3. Carefully turn the screwdriver in the slot until the cover releases.

  5. Remove the cover while being careful not to damage the seal.
  6. Remove the battery from the transmitter.
