- Place the remote control door lock receiver transmitter face down on a clean surface.
- Insert a small screwdriver into the slot on the bottom of the transmitter.
- Carefully turn the screwdriver in the slot until the cover releases.
- Remove the cover while being careful not to damage the seal.
- Remove the battery from the transmitter.
