2003 Chevrolet TrailBlazer 4.2 S, 4WDSECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the front side door water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Front DoorΒ .
  2. Remove the front door lock cylinder. Refer to Lock Cylinder Replacement - DoorΒ  in Doors.
  3. Remove the outer handle, by sliding towards rear of door, the pull to remove.

  5. Remove the torx screw (5) from the outside handle frame (4), if necessary.
  6. Disengage the rod (6) from the door lock, and remove handle frame (4) from door if necessary.

  8. Disengage the handle frame clip (1) and remove from the door, if necessary.
  9. Remove handle gaskets from door, if necessary.
