2003 Chevrolet TrailBlazer 4.2 S, 4WDSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Install the air cleaner housing by pushing the cover (1) into the 2 rubber grommets (2) in the engine compartment.

  2. Install the PCM and the harness into the air cleaner housing (3).

  4. Install the air cleaner housing cover assembly (1).
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  5. Install the 2 screws (2) to the air cleaner housing. Tighten the screws to 3 N.m (27 lb in).
  6. Install the air cleaner intake duct. Refer to AIR CLEANER INTAKE DUCTΒ .
  7. Install the left inner fender brace. Refer to BRACE REPLACEMENT - FRONT FENDER UPPER DIAGON .


  1. Install the air cleaner assembly by pushing the housing into the rubber grommets in the engine compartment.
  2. Install the PCM (4) into the air cleaner housing (3).
