- Install the cruise control servo cable (4) to the servo lever (1).
- Install the cruise control cable (4) to the bracket. Secure the cable with the screw (5).
- Install the cruise control servo cover (1) by applying slight downward pressure to the cover until the tabs (2) lock.
- Install the cruise control cable (2) to the throttle lever (3).
Opening the throttle lever by hand will aide in the installation of the cruise control cable.
- Install the cruise control cable (2) to accelerator cable bracket.
- Install the cruise control cable to the cable guide clips.
- Adjust the cable adjusting locknuts to allow slight freedom of movement between the cruise control cable and the throttle lever.NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
- Secure the cruise control cable locknuts (1).
TightenΒ
Tighten the cruise control cable adjusting locknuts to 6 N.m (52 lb in).
