2003 Chevrolet TrailBlazer 4.2 S, 4WDSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Install the reservoir to the bracket.
  2. Install the reservoir outlet hose and the hose clamp to the reservoir.
  3. Install the reservoir inlet hose and the hose clamp to the reservoir.
    NOTE: When adding fluid or making a complete fluid change, always use the proper power steering fluid. Failure to use the proper fluid will cause hose and seal damage and fluid leaks.
  4. Add fluid to the reservoir. Refer to CHECKING AND ADDING POWER STEERING FLUIDΒ  .
  5. Bleed the power steering system. Refer to BLEEDING THE POWER STEERING SYSTEMΒ  .
  6. Install the reservoir cap (2).
