Installation Procedure
2003 Chevrolet TrailBlazer 4.2 S, 4WDSECTION Installation Procedure

- Install the inertia seat back lock assembly (1) to the seat back.NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
- Install the 4 seat back lock bolts.
Tighten
Tighten the inertia seat back lock bolts to 24 N.m (18 lb ft).
- Install the seat back cover. Refer to SEAT BACK COVER REPLACEMENT - FRONT .
- Install the new emergency release knob.
- For the passenger side only, route the E/Z entry cable. Ensure that the routing of the cable is the same as before removal.
- For the passenger side only, connect the cable to the seat adjuster.
- For the passenger side only, attach the cable seat bottom with the tie strap.
- Install the 2 pivot bolts.
Tighten
Tighten the pivot bolts to 24 N.m (18 lb ft).
- Install the 2 new rear roll pins (2).
- Install the front seat. Refer to SEAT REPLACEMENT - FRONT BUCKET .
