2003 Chevrolet TrailBlazer 4.2 S, 4WDSECTION Installation Procedure

IMPORTANT:
  • Never use a hammer to install the power steering pulley.
  • The face of the power steering pulley hub must be flush with the end of the power steering pump driveshaft.
  1. Using J 25033-CΒ  install the power steering pump pulley to the power steering pump.
  2. Install the accessory drive belt. Refer to DRIVE BELT REPLACEMENT .
  3. Fill the power steering system. Refer to Checking and Adding Power Steering FluidΒ .
  4. Bleed the power steering system. Refer to Bleeding the Power Steering SystemΒ .
  5. Inspect the power steering system for leaks. Refer to Power Steering Fluid LeaksΒ .
