Installation Procedure

2003 Chevrolet TrailBlazer 4.2 S, 4WDSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Position the latch to the latch bracket.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the bolts attaching the latch.

    TightenΒ 

    Tighten the latch mounting bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  3. Connect the electrical harness to the latch.

  4. Install the cargo lamp to the trim panel.

  5. Install the rear/end corner carpet trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL CARPET REPLACEMENT - REAR CORNER (COUPE) or TRIM PANEL CARPET REPLACEMENT - REAR CORNER (CONVERTIBLE) or TRIM PANEL CARPET REPLACEMENT - REAR CORNER (HARDTOP) in Interior Trim.
  6. Install the rear floor side stowage compartment cover.
