2003 Chevrolet TrailBlazer 4.2 S, 4WDSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Install the front door speaker assembly into position in the door.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.

    Important:Β  The tightening sequence MUST be followed.

  2. Install the front door speaker assembly retaining screws in the following sequence:
    1. The uppermost screw
    2. The lowermost screw
    3. The remaining screws in a criss-cross pattern

      TightenΒ 

      Tighten the front door speaker assembly retaining screws in sequence to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).

  3. Connect the electrical/audio connector to the front door speaker assembly.
  4. Install the door trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - DOOR in Doors.
