- Install a NEW thermostat gasket.
- Install the thermostat and gasket.
- Install the thermostat bolts.
Tighten:Β Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
- Install the coolant inlet pipe. Refer to Coolant Pipe Replacement - InletΒ .
- Install the heater pipes. Refer to Heater Pipes Replacement (LY7) in Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning.
- Install the throttle body assembly. Refer to Throttle Body Assembly Replacement .
- Install the air cleaner. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement in Engine Controls-3.6L (LY7).
- Fill the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling SystemΒ .
