Floor Console: Installation

2003 Chevrolet TrailBlazer 4.2 S, 4WDSECTION Installation

  1. Position the center console to the vehicle. Adjust the parking brake to the or fully engaged position. See Fig 1 . Connect the electrical connectors as necessary.
  2. Lower the rear of the console and slide the console forward into position. Ensure the 2 retaining ears on the front extensions of the console are fully engaged to the lower instrument panel (Bravada only).
  3. Install the center console retaining screws. Tighten the screws to 22 INCH lbs. (2.5 N.m). Install the console storage bin. See FLOOR CONSOLE STORAGE BINΒ  .
  4. Install the center console shift lever bezel. Install the floor shift knob. See FLOOR SHIFT KNOBΒ  .
  5. Install the rubber ash tray inserts and rubber mat to the console. Remove the bocks from the vehicle.
