Removal Procedure
2003 Chevrolet TrailBlazer 4.2 S, 4WDSECTION Removal Procedure
- Close the window to the full up position.
- Remove the door trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - SIDE REAR DOOR .
- Remove the water deflector. Refer to WATER DEFLECTOR REPLACEMENT - REAR DOOR .
- Remove the inside door handle lock rods from the latch.
- Disconnect the outside handle lock rod from the outside handle.
- Remove the 3 fasteners that retain the latch to the door.
- Disconnect the electrical connectors from the latch.
- Remove the latch from the door.
- Remove the actuator from the latch. Refer to LOCK ACTUATOR REPLACEMENT - REAR DOOR .
