Removal Procedure
2003 Chevrolet TrailBlazer 4.2 S, 4WDSECTION Removal Procedure
- Close the window to the full up position.
- Remove the door trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - SIDE FRONT DOORΒ Β .Β
- Remove the rear half of the water deflector from the door.
- Release the upper lock rod retainer (1) from the rod.
- Remove the lock rod from the handle assembly.
- Release the lock cylinder rod retainer (2) from the lock rod, if equipped.
- Remove the lock cylinder rod from the handle assembly, if equipped.
- Remove the 2 door handle retaining nuts.
- Remove the handle assembly from the door.
- Remove the lock cylinder from the handle, if equipped. Refer to LOCK CYLINDER REPLACEMENT - DOORΒ Β .Β
