- Remove the rear seat. Refer to Seat Replacement - Rear .
- Remove the seat back frame (1). Refer to Seat Back Frame Replacement - Rear (AQ4 Captains Chair) or Seat Back Frame Replacement - Rear (AT5 - 60/40 Split Bench) or Seat Back Frame Replacement - Rear (AM9 - 50/50 Split Bench) or Seat Back Frame Replacement - Rear (Rear AL4 Rear Bucket) .
Important: The recliner mechanism is an integral part of the seat back frame. Replace the entire seat back frame if the recliner mechanism requires replacement.
- Remove the recliner mechanism (2) and the seat back frame assembly (1).
