Lower Insulator Panel: Installation

2002 Chevrolet S10 Pickup 2D Pickup, 2.2 5, StandardSECTION Installation

  1. Connect the electrical connector to the accessory power outlet, if equipped.
  2. Install the instrument panel sound insulator to the vehicle. See Fig 1. Install the screws that retain the instrument panel sound insulator to the knee bolster, instrument panel, and the floor duct. Tighten the screws to 13 INCH lbs. (1.5 N.m).
  3. Install the screw that retains the instrument panel sound insulator to the heater assembly. Tighten the screw to 13 INCH lbs. (1.5 N.m).
