Floor Shift Control: Removal

  1. Remove the gearshift lever handle and boot assembly. See FLOOR SHIFT BOOTΒ .
  2. Remove the shift control cover. See Figure. Remove floor console, if equipped. Remove the retainer and shift cable from shift control. See Figure.
  3. Remove the nuts securing the shift controller to the floor panel. See Figure. Remove shift lock solenoid connector. See Figure. Remove the floor shift control from the floor panel.
