Floor Shift Control: Removal

- Remove the gearshift lever handle and boot assembly. See FLOOR SHIFT BOOT .
- Remove the shift control cover. See Figure. Remove floor console, if equipped. Remove the retainer and shift cable from shift control. See Figure.
- Remove the nuts securing the shift controller to the floor panel. See Figure. Remove shift lock solenoid connector. See Figure. Remove the floor shift control from the floor panel.
