Floor Console: Installation

- Install the console to the vehicle. Install the screws that retain the front of the console. See Fig 4. Tighten the screws to 63 INCH lbs. (7 N.m).
- Install the cup holder insert. Install the nuts that retain the rear of the console. Tighten the nuts to 89 INCH lbs. (10 N.m).
- Install the transmission select switch (if equipped). See Fig 3. Install the console compartment insert. See Fig 2.
- Install the console compartment insert screws. Tighten the nuts to 17 INCH lbs. (1.9 N.m). Install the shift handle to the gearshift lever. See Fig 1. Install the shift handle retaining clip at the front of the handle.
