NOTE:
Generator does not require periodic lubrication. The rotor shaft is mounted on bearings. Each bearing contains a permanent grease supply. Periodically check mounting bolts for tightness, and drive belt tension. The drive belt is self-adjusting, within operating limits of tensioner. CS-130D generator is serviced as a complete unit.
- Disconnect negative battery cable.
- Remove drive belt.
- Remove generator electrical connections.
- Remove power steering line clip (3). See Fig 1 .
- Remove generator mounting nuts and bolts.
- Remove generator (2).
