2002 Chevrolet Impala LSSECTION Removal & Installation (Bucket Seat)

Disable air bag system. See appropriate AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS article. Move seat to between full forward and mid position and full up position. Remove seat adjuster track covers. Remove seat belt from front seat track. Remove both head restraints. Remove front seat anchor bolts/screws. Disconnect electrical connector. Disengage front seat from hook attachments. Remove seat from vehicle. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten anchor bolts/screws to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONSΒ  table.
