Installation (Monte Carlo)
2002 Chevrolet Impala LSSECTION Installation (Monte Carlo)
- Connect electrical connectors HVAC control module. Connect vacuum connectors to HVAC control module. Install HVAC control module into instrument panel. Install retaining screws to secure HVAC control module.
- Install front floor console. Install console bolts forward of shift control lever and at bottom of storage bin. Install storage compartment mat. Close console storage compartment. Connect wiring harness connector and retainer.
- Install trim plate screw located between instrument panel and shift lever. Position transaxle shift lever in Park. Release park brake.
- Lower front floor console trim plate over shift control handle as shown. Rotate trim plate 180 degrees. Connect electrical connector to cigarette lighter. Connect heated seat switches to trim plate. Install shift lever trim plate. Connect traction control switch electric connector. Install wiring harnesses to retainers. Install trim plate by pressing down on retainers until fully seated.
