Removal Procedure

- Raise the vehicle. Refer to LIFTING AND JACKING THE VEHICLE .
- Disconnect the battery negative cable from the auxiliary battery. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure .
- Disconnect the negative ground leads from the frame.
- Remove the battery negative cable from the vehicle.
