Installation Procedure
2002 Chevrolet Chevy Express G3500, Van Passenger Extended, 8.1 GSECTION Installation Procedure
- Position the cable (1) to the vehicle.
- Route the cable (1) from the cabin into the engine compartment.
- Install the cable grommet into the front of dash.
- Install the cable handle (3) to the hinge pillar.
- Install the screws to the hood release handle (3) to the pillar.
- Install the left side hinge pillar trim panel to the body. Refer to TRIM REPLACEMENT - HINGE PILLAR .
- Install the cable (1) to the retainer on the radiator support.
- Install the cable (1) to the hood latch.
- Close the hood.
- Inspect the hood release cable for proper operation.
