- To activate air bag system, ensure ignition switch is in LOCK position and ignition key is removed. Ensure SDM fuse is still removed from fuse block. Connect passenger side air bag Yellow 2-pin connector, and passenger seat belt pretensioner Yellow 2-pin connector. Install CPA clips for each connector. Repeat procedure for driver side air bag and seat belt pretensioner connectors.
- Connect Yellow 2-pin SIR connector for passenger front air bag. Install CPA clip. Repeat procedure for driver front air bag Yellow 2-pin connector at base of steering column. Install CPA clip. Install sound insulator panels.
- Install SDM (air bag) fuse. Staying well away from both front air bag inflator modules, turn ignition switch to ON position. Ensure AIR BAG warning light flashes 7 times, and then turns off.
