  1. If Body Control Module (BCM) diagnostic system check has been performed, go to next step. If BCM diagnostic system check has not been performed, perform BODY CONTROL MODULE DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK  .
  2. If no DTCs are retrieved, go to next step. If any DTCs other than 12, 25 and/or 35 and 55 are retrieved, perform appropriate test in accordance with DTC retrieved. See DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE DEFINITIONS in BODY CONTROL MODULES - CAMARO & FIREBIRD article.
  3. If power windows operate beyond 10 minutes from turning ignition switch to OFF position, perform TEST D: RETAINED ACCESSORY POWER ON AFTER TIME OUT  under SYSTEM TESTS. If power windows do not operate beyond 10 minutes from turning ignition switch to OFF position, repair power windows by symptom. See SYMPTOM INDEX  under SYSTEM TESTS.
