Theft deterrent system is comprised of 2 separate systems, Vehicle Theft Deterrent (VTD), also known as Pass-Key(R) III, and Content Theft Deterrent (CTD) system. VTD prevents drive away theft, by preventing vehicle from being started. CTD is a vehicle alarm system, which discourages an unauthorized entry into vehicle. These systems are described below.

When to See a Mechanic
