Installation Procedure
2001 Chevrolet Suburban C1500SECTION Installation Procedure
- Refer to Fastener Notice
in Cautions and Notices.
Install 3 TORX® screws into the lock cylinder housing.
Tighten
Tighten the TORX® screws to 7Y(62 lb in).
- Install the turn signal cancel cam. Refer to Turn Signal and Multifunction Switch Assembly - Assemble - Off Vehicle (Floor Shift) , Turn Signal and Multifunction Switch Assembly - Assemble - Off Vehicle (Column Shift) .
- Install the park lock cable into the lock cylinder housing.
- Install the ignition switch. Refer to Ignition and Key Alarm Switch Assembly - Assemble - Off Vehicle .
- Enable the SIR system. Refer to Enabling the SIR System in SIR.
