Removal Procedure

2001 Chevrolet Suburban C1500SECTION Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the assist handles, if equipped. Refer to Assist Handle Replacement (Utility Rear) , Assist Handle Replacement (Front) in Interior Trim.
  2. Remove the windshield pillar moldings. Refer to Windshield Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement in Interior Trim.
  3. Remove the sunshades. Refer to Sunshade Replacement in Interior Trim.
  4. Remove the overhead console, if equipped. Refer to Roof Console Replacement (Full Length) , Roof Console Replacement (Short Length) in Interior Trim.
  5. Remove the center pillar garnish moldings. Refer to Center Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement in Interior Trim.
  6. Lower the front of the headliner down to access the auxiliary HVAC control processor.
  7. Disconnect the electrical connector from the auxiliary HVAC control processor.
  8. Remove the HVAC control processor from the headliner.
